Oasis of Hope is the only statewide non-therapeutic foster care licensing agency. We are committed to helping children in foster care find the homes that will help them heal and grow, all while reinforcing their self-worth and importance.
The Hope
Oasis of Hope seeks to create a community of service for children in foster care. We believe in the healing and supportive power of community. We hope to not only support children and families, but also the bonds and relationships that are made along the journey.

Out of the children waiting for homes in South Carolina:
286 are 0-2 years old
979 are 3-12 year old

70% of foster children who age out of the system would like to go to college

25% won't graduate from high school
70% of girls will become pregnant before 21
60% of boys have been convicted of a crime
50% will develop substance dependance
20% will instantly be homeless after 18
